Job Description

Manufacturing company located in Lake Forest is seeking a qualified Inventory Control and Purchasing Coordinator:

Full time Monday to Friday $29-31hr. Great benefits and growth! I have a full Job Description I can send if interested. This is a snapshot of the role:

Managing the company's day-to-day purchasing and inventory activities to ensure that all stock, supply, and maintenance needs are fulfilled. Purchase, log and source all supplies and inventories with assistance from Department Managers, Quality Assurance, and the Upper Management team. Advocate purchasing controls by preparing purchase orders and RFQs; maintaining information systems and historical records as necessary. Review, document, and submit all accounts payable invoices for final approval and payment. Coordinate the flow of goods between production and distribution departments. Issue, monitor, and close all work tickets. Maintain both physical and digital inventory. Oversee monthly cycle counting programs. Assist receiving inspection and monitor supplier PO's to ensure deliveries meet demands. Confirm all transactions properly and accurately documented.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of supply chain management required with a proven history of contributing to effective inventory management policies.
  • Skilled in supplier management- including product sourcing, receiving inspection, and AP processing.
  • High Level ERP Comprehension including product types (WIP, finished goods, etc.) and BOM.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:

  • High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Ability to understand and maintain quality and safety procedures
  • Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English. Spanish a plus.
  • Understanding of ERP/Inventory/KanBan terms and inputs
  • Basic understanding of Logistics a plus.
